The INTEY Vibration Plate looks like almost every other budget machine on first impressions alone.

However, when you look at the functions on the specification, there appears to be a greater desire to offer customisation and versatile options.

This could mean that this low-price model actually does more than some other options, but is this true?

The Pros and Cons of this INTEY Vibration Plate.

 

Pros:

Cons:

•  Some confusion over how to set the speed on the programmes
•  No bonus features like a music system

The INTEY Vibrating Plate takes working out on a vibration plate in a slightly different direction.

The interesting thing about this machine is that it focuses on modes of training rather than intensity. The go-to function of many vibration plates is to provide a strong motion and then let users increase the intensity to their liking.

You just stand there and let it do its job. Here it is a little different with the six programmes based on different workouts. Users are also encouraged to place their feet at different points on the rubber surface for different effects.

 

 

In addition to this, you can benefit from the resistance bands for arm exercise and strength training. These hook onto the machine with ease for more of a full-body workout. They appear to be strong enough for the task and have comfortable handles.

Another interesting feature to enhance the workouts is the timers. You can set the duration of the session to fit your regime, although the company says you shouldn’t need more than 10 minutes per day to see the best results.

From there, you should also find that the dimensions and general design of this machine are perfect for at-home use. The vibro plate is quite wide at 62cm, which means plenty of stability with feet apart in the “running” pose.

But, it is only 12cm tall, so should fit under a bed for storage. There is also a decent console for all the settings – backed up with a remote control – and anti-slip feet.

 

There is a little confusion with some of the functions on this INTEY 20-Speed Vibration Trainer.

Unfortunately, there is some confusion here with the way that the programmable speed settings work. There are meant to be 20 speeds in total.

While this is a lot less than other machines that can go up as far as 99, there does seem to be a big difference from highest to lowest.

The company says that the speed is adjustable on both the automatic and the manual modes. However, one user said that the vibrating machine reverted the speed to the desired level for each function.

So, either the machine isn’t as customisable as the company would have us think, or the user couldn’t figure out how to do it.

 

 

If the latter is the case, that would suggest a need for better instructions. There is a manual that comes with this system to help users get started, but perhaps it could do more?

Otherwise, there is little to complain about because the machine meets the rest of the brief. You don’t get much in the way of bonus features here, as there is no Bluetooth and music system. But, that reflects the low price paid compared to other machines.

 

Does this lack of negative comments mean that the INTEY Low-Profile Vibration Plate is still a great choice?

There is a lot to appreciate about this machine if you want to get fit with a less strenuous piece of equipment. The focus on workout options over intensity separates this model from a lot of others on the market.

While it might sound weak at first with 20 speeds, it is just more diverse.

It is unclear if the machine would benefit from better instructions, and there are other features missing due to the price.

But, the INTEY vibration trainer can still help a lot of people tone-up their way with the different modes, postures, and the general ease of use.
